Change of plea scheduled for Marci Kitchen on Monday


A review hearing for the jury questionnaire was scheduled in the Marci Kitchen trial this afternoon at 3 p.m. Instead a white plea form was submitted by defense. Marci Kitchen was not present today therefore the change of plea scheduled for this Monday, August 20 at 3:30 p.m.

Both families declined comment on specifics of the plea until Monday. I did not publish the specifics of the plea yesterday. Marci Kitchen will plead to all charges.

There will be specific seating arrangements on Monday, certain number of seats for family, certain for defendant,certain seats attorneys and press, leaving only 7 seats first come, first served.

Joe and Jevin Kitchen were present this afternoon with his attorneys from the Zwerdling law firm and several supporters and friends including Sunni Killfoil.

Faith Tsarnas' aunt Carolyn Marchi and Faith's step sister Kristen Baldwin are here today.

Faith Tsarnas' stepfather Mark Baldwin and  and mother Stephanie Baldwin had told me earlier today they would not be  for today's hearing.

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Marci Kitchen is being represented by Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell. Judge Kaleb Cockrum has been assigned to the case.
