One fatality, another with major injuries in 101 collision

 

On, 11/19/2022, at approximately 1554 hours, a Toyota 4Runner, being driven by Beatriz Diaz-Rodriguez was traveling northbound on US-101 near mile post marker 32.30. A Subaru Impreza, being driven by Zora Culps was traveling southbound on US-101 north of mile post marker 32.30. 

Bobbie Bagley arrested for assault, false imprisonment and intimidating a witness

On Nov. 20, 2022, at about 12:12 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 3600 block of Old Arcata Road near Eureka for the report of an assault.

Robert Duncan arrested for attempted murder, domestic violence and child endangerment

 

Robert James  Duncan was arrested by HCSO yesterday for PC 273.5 (a) corporal injury to a spouse/cohabitant, PC 273 (a) (a) child endangerment and PC 664/187(a), attempted murder.

Two EPD officers out at 3rd and X apartments

 

One of the officers, Nick Jones, is searching bags on top of the car, another officer searching the dumpster. One  detained in a patrol car and just yelled something inaudible. Third EPD officer just arrived to secure more items into evidence.

Third arrest in 2022 and third release on O.R.

 

Kimberly Michelle Baird was arrested yesterday by Eureka Police Department for PC 653 x calling 911 with the intent to annoy or harass another person. 

I reported about Baird's arrests in February and March 2022. She was released on O.R again. Her previous arrests include charges for alcohol and meth and a history of warrants and failures to appear.

Molestor kicked out of Betty Chinn Center off to prison

 

Molestor Dean Brown was sentenced this morning. Two of his victims addressed the court. A statement was read from the third victim.

On October 11, after opening statements in his jury trial, Brown pleaded guilty to all 6 counts for a stipulated sentence of 18 years.

Felony warrant suspect arrested for possession of fentanyl , probation violation and other charges

On Nov. 17, 2022, at about 10:33 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol in the Hoopa area conducted a vehicle investigation on the 12500 block of State Highway 96.

Humboldt judges released this repeat violent criminal and he is back in custody

Brian Christopher Bickerstaff was arrested yesterday by PC 245(a) (1) assault with a deadly weapon.

The last time I wrote about Bickerstaff aka "Memphis" was in 2018. He has wasted so much EPD time and resources with repeated arrests. Despite the DA's objection in 2018, the Judge released "Memphis" pending sentencing. He is a danger to women and public safety.

APD arrests one for murder, another for harboring or aiding a criminal

Devon Preston Cathey was arrested by Arcata Police Department yesterday on a Ramey warrant for PC 182(a) (1), PC 187(a) murder.

Vonda Joyce Carlson was arrested by APD yesterday on a Ramey warrant for PC 32 harbor,conceal.or aid a person committing a felony.

I spoke with APD Chief Brian Ahearn right now and these arrests were a result of an investigation by APD into the death of Nicklas Sellars.

I heard the red car get hit at 11:11. EPD was here by 11:13. EPD moved car to the side by 11:14. People on 5th just kept driving on 5th as if this was just normal.

On Nov. 14, 2022, at about 6:46 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Hansen Drive near Fortuna for the report of an unwanted person attempting to gain entry into a residence.

Anthony Francisco Noriega was arrested by HCSO yesterday for PC 422 criminal threats.
