In 2022, I covered Humboldt GOP vandal Michael Valls court case.
Valls resolved his case with a one year diversion, a stay away from the Humboldt Republican headquarters with an exception if he is on Hwy 101. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Christopher Wilson ordered Eureka Police Department to return Valls bike.
He did pay restitution in full for the 2022 case. The case was dismissed by the People. Deputy DA Candace Myers was present for the plea and sentence. Different Deputy DAs appeared on the case.
For local readers, some information from past coverage, former Deputy Conflict Counsel, now Humboldt Judge April Van Dyke was Valls' attorney. Ousted former Humboldt judge Gregory Kreis was disqualified from his case. Valls bike had Bernie Sanders' stickers. This was part of court testimony and records.
Another repeat offender.
Valls was arrested yesterday by Cal Poly Humboldt Police Department PC148 (a) 1 resisting arrest, VC 22350 "basic speed law, VC 22450(a) running a stop sign, VC 27315(a) seat belt violation and VC 23103 reckless driving. Valls was released by the jail on O.R.
