Ward 5 incumbent Eureka Councilmember Renee Contreras-DeLoach is running for re-election

 

I just confirmed and am the first to report that Ward 5 incumbent Eureka Councilmember Renee Contreras-DeLoach is running for re-election.

When Councilmember DeLoach reactivates her campaign Facebook page  and has a website, I will add that to the post on the blog.

I did a related post on Dec 9 about a possible opponent who had not filed paperwork.

In that post, I wrote, "I am in Councilmember DeLoach's Ward. I have dealt with her as a member of the press and constituent. She doesn't allow Eureka Manager Miles Slattery to control her and that for me is a plus."
