I did two posts this month on Humboldt Deputy District Attorney's petition to have convicted felon Justin Patrick declared a sexually violent predator.

Judge Wilson found that Patrick is a SVP; he remains detained and will be transported to the State Hospital until his court trial. Setting of that trial setting on 3/11/26.
Despite preliminary hearings, jury trials scheduled to start this week for other sex offense cases, Deputy DA Timm delivered another win protecting Humboldt.
