Heidi Benzonelli wears many hats and of all days, today I don't have time to check into which of her titles are still current. She is a local landlord and she is on the The Humboldt Community Services District.
I saw her name on the court calendar today for a traffic case. Arresting agency was California Highway Patrol. The case was filed on 8/12/25. Charge is VC 22350 basic speed law. After a court trial today, Benzonelli was found guilty.
She also has a conviction and bail forfeiture from 2016 for VC 23123 (a) commonly known as using your cell phone while driving.
Heidi has changed a lot over the years. I remember when she was humble and friendly. Then she changed. Heidi, I don't really care what you think of me or my blog anymore than anyone else's opinion in Humboldt. You like the privileges of being a public figure. Then you don't get to complain when there is news involving you.
Just like Humboldt Commissioner Sarah Kaber, CHP, I don't care who you are. I don't do selective court coverage or news. Don't want to be on my blog; follow the law.
