Minesota man shows up at Brooklyn detention center claiming to be a FBI agent with a court order to release Luigi Mangione

When I cover Humboldt courts or am at the courthouse, what happens is better than a TV show. Humboldt had the title for cray cray but a Minnesota man has snatched that title.

Mark Anderson was arrested last night after showing up at a New York federal jail claiming to be an FBI agent and saying he had a court order to release Luigi Mangione.

This made headlines today after a complaint was filed. When asked by personnel at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for his federal credentials, Anderson presented a Minnesota driver's license, claimed he was carrying weapons which turned out to be a BBQ fork and a pizza cutter.

He allegedly threw a stack of documents at officers and described as legal claims against the U.S. Department of Justice.
