Jackie Klem's lawsuit is the second lawsuit. The first lawsuit against County of Humboldt and Otis Elevator Company was filed by Robin Heatherstorm on March 14, 2025.
Heatherstorm is also represented by Mr. William Stein of local law firm Janssen Malloy. Same allegations and also at the Humboldt County jail. Humboldt Deputy County Counsel Joel Campbell-Blair is representing the County. San Francisco law firm Tucker Ellis LLP' Ms. Rebecca Biernat is Otis Elevator Company's attorney.
There was a case management today. Court minutes are not available yet.
