Alleged molestor Dennis Cameron was arrested by Eureka Police Department on May 29, 2025. The DA charged him with three felony counts of PC 269 (a) (5) aggravated sexual assault of a minor and one felony count of PC 288 (a) lewd act on a minor.

On 1/22/26, after his preliminary hearing, Cameron was held to answer on all charges by Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge Wilson. Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor on the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel RJ Leohner is Cameron's attorney. Arraignment on information is on 2/5/26.
