After several continuances, mostly from defense and just one from the District Attorney's office, John Provolt's alleged molestation preliminary hearing finally proceeded today and is still going on.
There are two people with Provolt; three people with the Victim Witness Advocate Caitlyn LaHaie.
Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward is listening to Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer question HCSO Det. Brian Buihner.
Provolt is represented by Mr. Christian R. Jensen.
The post will be updated with the outcome tomorrow and court minutes but it also depends on when the preliminary hearing concludes. Mr. Jensen was cross examing Det. Buihner around 3:40 p.m.
