A week ago before his death, the DA filed a criminal case against Joe Mazzotti for "revenge porn"; this in addition to the civil lawsuit from Wallace and Hinz; the petitioner in the domestic violence case which was dismissed after his death is the same "alleged " victim in the criminal case

On October 13, 2025, I did a post that Mazotti passed away.

While his case in family law court has been handled; Wallace and Hinz and Tom Tellez need  to make a decision about the civil case and the Humboldt County DA's office cannot prosecute someone who is dead.

There has been nothing in the 2022 Wallace and Hinz Bar  Company vs Joseph G. Mazzotti and Jean Mazotti since a bench warrant was issued for Jean Mazzotti on 11/25/24 and today is 12/28/25. I checked that case on 10/21/25 and there were no future dates. When I last spoke to Tellez and did a post, he was selling the business to a Native American owner.

On October 20, Mazzotti's domestic violence family law case was dismissed without prejudice by the alleged victim in that case who is the same person in the criminal case filed by the DA on 10/3/25. Mazotti was charged in that case with four counts of PC 647 (j) (4) (a) distributing an intimate private image. On 10/24/25, obviously Mazzotti was not at arraignment. The failure to appear resulted in a referral to the DA for affadavit.

After this post, there is no reason for me to cover Joe Mazzotti anymore. I already addressed the hateful trolls and losers who attacked me last time. If you are stupid enough to harass, stalk and attack me again for informing the community about a low life and a coward who affected local businesses and individuals, I will report to the authorities again. Death does not absolve Joe Mazzotti from his actions. What I think of him is not based just on court records but as I have written previously on my interactions with him in business and personally.
