I know you,I have had my experiences with Leibert, Cassidy and Whitmore, a law firm both the City of Eureka and County of Humboldt hire and pay with taxpayer dollars. I have consulted with attorneys about LCW on a few matters.
Both you and LCW failed to show up at the last court hearing wasting Humboldt Superior Court Presiding Judge Kelly Neel's time, court resources and took time away from others who could have used it that day. I know City of Eureka Miles Slattery and many mentioned in Brandey Wheeler's lawsuit well.
Curt, we have spoken about Miles. I know what you think of him. Those who read my previous posts after you were let go know what you think of him.
I find it very interesting that without a hearing or any explaination, you filed a partial dismissal against Miles Slattery. Something lawyers asked me and I have provided a screenshot for readers.
Ms. Wheeler's alleged claims filed by you in her lawsuit against several people, including Miles Slattery and just like that, there is a dismissal against him?
Why should anyone believe you or any allegations about Jeff Davis or Uplift?
There hasn't even been a single hearing on this case and in your own words, in your August 18, 2025 email, you are filing a First Amended Complaint to address "alleged deficiencies." You already had to dismiss certain causes of action. So what research and vetting did you do before filing this lawsuit?
As much as I don't care for LCW and think there are more competent law firms, you have zero credibility with me Curt based on what you told me in the past and could not prove and because you were not honest with me.
In my July 2025 post, this was the headline. "If lack of disclosure/working on Sparks vs Joachim while employed with the City of Eureka was not part of the reason for Curtis Davis' termination; all he had to do is send me a brief written response."
As another reader pointed out, how are you getting all these cases from people employed or disgruntled with the City of Eureka. How much of what you know about City of Eureka while you were employed there is thrown in this lawsuit.
Do you have any clients that do not involve the City of Eureka?
One does not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out you may sue the City of Eureka yourself. You could settle privately and no one would know.
This is a small community. Conflicts of interest gets thrown around a lot and applied selectively. You have an axe to grind with the City of Eureka. A very obvious and blatant conflict.
Regardless of whether the allegations in the Wheeler lawsuit have merit or not; having you as an attorney is a disadvantage to Wheeler.
I haven't even included all the emails attached to LCW Ethan Wicklund's declaration because after a point, it was more of the same bs.
I was the first one to report on Davis being terminated by the City of Eureka. I am and was the only one to provide other exclusives about him previously and once again with court records from this lawsuit. I am the only one to report on several lawsuits, including the one filed by Brandey Wheeler against the City of Eureka and the first to report on them.
This does not mean I think Liebert, Cassidy, Whitmore have the advantage. Besides sending threatening me for their screw up, they have not impressed me with their legal knowledge and LCW also did not show up for court.
I am not linking previous posts on Davis or Liebert, Cassidy, Whitmore. Most readers read me daily and regularly. Others can use the search feature to access for posts. As I have said many times, the freebies for 12 years are over. You want convenience in addition to time consuming and exclusive content; pay for it.
