It was obvious from day one that the Brown University suspect knew the place. The delay in releasing the video and images was a big error.
48-year-old Claudio Manuel Neves-Valente was the Brown University shooting suspect. He was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in New Hampshire storage unit. Valente was a former Brown University student from 2000 to 2001.
It was once again a tip that led Providence Police to Valente. Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez said Valente was a native of Portugal with a last known address in Miami. He was found at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire, with a satchel, two firearms and evidence matching the crime scene.
