After this weekend's press conferences and snafus, the Providence Police Department, Providence local officials and the LAPD handling of major national crimes, Barney Fife could have done a better job

Last night, the Los Angeles Police Department held a news conference and said nothing.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass & a spokesperson for Reiner family had already confirmed the identies of the deceased yet LAPD did not even answer that question.

Several media outlets had reported that Nick Reiner son of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer  who were found stabbed in their home and Nick Reiner was being questioned by LAPD. This morning, media outlets are reporting that Nick Reiner was booked into a Los Angeles jail today with a $4 million bail.

Jail records do not list any other information except that Nick Reiner was taken into custody last night and booked into jail today early a.m today.

After this weekend's press conferences and snafus, the Providence Police Department, Providence local officials and the LAPD handling of major national crimes, Barney Fife could have done a better job.

There was no response on President Trump or the White House account about Rob Reiner and his wife's death until a Truth Social post at 9:51 a.m. today. RapidReponse47 shared President Trump's post. So far, I have only seeny two GOP elected officials speak against President Trump's post.

This morning at a press conference on the thwarted bombing plot targeted at Orange County and Los Angeles County, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell  said Nick Reiner was booked for murder.

At noon, LAPDPIO finally issued a statement. Nick Reiner $4 million bail was changed to no bail.

Tomorrow, the LAPD will "present" the case to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Listed below is booking information from Los Angeles inmate information center. Under agency description, it says "gang activity."

According to Fox News, LAPD gang and narcotics division released these photos of Nick Reiner's arrest. The same time I raised these question on X and Facebook.
