County Counsel to represent three of four defendants in Ray Christie's case

I am waiting for last week's Humboldt County Board of Supervisor's meeting to be posted but I was contacted my regular Humboldt BOS meeting attendees about Ray Christie's case against the County of Humboldt.

I was told the report out of closed session when this lawsuit was on the agenda was that three out of four defendants would be represented by Humboldt County Counsel.

Since three of the defendants are County of Humboldt; Humboldt Sheriff William Honsal and former Humboldt Deputy DA, now Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada that makes sense. The fourth defendant, former HCSO Deputy Travis Mendes who I reported is now employed by CALFire should get his own lawyer.

Larson LLP's Mr. Rick Richmond is Christie's lawyer. I have reached out to Mr. Richmond to see if he has been notified of any representation.

If you read my coverage of Christie's case since 2018, which included many exclusives and still does; no need to state the obvious; again.
