I have been the only one who regularly reported for months on the status of the 4 lawsuits filed against the City of Eureka by Citizens for a Better Eureka and one by Eureka Housing for all. They lost two on appeal. Three other lawsuits had nothing happen for months; three were dismissed by CBE finally; two in October 2025. Despite the May 15, 2025 claim, today is 12/30/25 and there is nothing about a State Supreme Court appeal and all 4 lawsuits by CBE have been dismissed.
Millions of dollars wasted on an incompetent out of area attorney. Rejected by the voters.
Instead of blaming everyone else and I know they don't like the truth I state; maybe the MPGA crowd should drop their attitude, look in the mirror and start thinking when they did prevail in elections and why.
I doubt there will be any self reflection, apologies or thanking people. Whether you win or lose depends on choices. The truth maybe inconvenient but those who win; put their ego aside, know how to pick people and alliances and deliver a win. Most of all winners listen to constructive criticism and not to sycophants.
The decent, hardworking conservatives in Humboldt County deserve better leadership than MPGA. There was a majority on Eureka City Council and the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors. The MPGA crowd has money and power. Then, deliver results.
