On, 12/5/25 instead of setting a date for a preliminary hearing in his 2024 case, Leonard Fraijo pleaded guilty to Count 2 PC 647 (a) lewd conduct in public as a misdemeanor. Count 2 was dismissed by the People.
Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward sentenced Fraijo to one year probation; he cannot be in the presence of a minor if a parent or guardian is not present; 4 days in jail imposed but he was given time for credit served.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor, Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps is Fraijo's attorney.
