54 year old Jason Zimmerman was booked into the Humboldt County jail yesterday on arrest warrant for PC 311.11(a), possession of child pornography. This is a new arrest. Zimmerman posted bond. Arraignment is on 10/18. The DA has filed a complaint charging Zimmerman with one count of PC 311.11 (a).
In September 2022, I reported on Zimmerman's arrest by HCSOPC 647 (k)(2) lewd conduct and PC 647 (j) (3) (a) and invasion of privacy. Zimmerman was released on O.R. for that arrest.
Complaint 2023 case:
10/18: Arraigned, Conflict Counsel appointed and protective order served. Preliminary is on 12/5.
12/5: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 1/30/24.
1/30/24: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 4/8.
4/8/24: Oral motion by people and defense to continue preliminary to 6/20.
