How many continuances are needed to resolve Jennifer Wrask's case if restitution is the only hold up?

I have been adding updates to my original post on Northern California Pet Supply and Grooming co-owner Jennifer Wrask's case. Last hearing, there was mention of possible resolution and restitution amount was the reason for the delay.

On 9/6, the preliminary hearing was continued by defense saying case should settle. Setting of prelim is scheduled for 10/3.

Half the Humboldt Superior Court backlog could be reduced if certain public defenders do not schedule needless continuances repeating the same excuse over and over again. I just updated a few cases today I could cite as examples. PD getting paid by taxpayers just to show up daily. They don't care if drag cases on for months and years.

10/3: Setting of preliminary continued to 11/28 by defense.
