19 year old Trinity June Thomas who was charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and a special allegation of great bodily injury resolved her case on the day of her preliminary hearing which was September 7.
The attempted murder charge was dismissed. Thomas pleaded guilty to the assault. There will be a court trial on the great bodily injury allegation and sentencing on September 27. Judge Kelly Neel indicated that she would be willing to grant probation.
Victim is Jessica Minasian.
9/27: Sentencing continued to 10/9.
10/9: Two years probation. 180 days in jail; Thompson has 96 days in custody credits.
