Mixed messages being sent in Aunna Bollman's civil and criminal cases

I just did a post on attempted terroristic threats Aunna Bollman on August 30. She posted bail on 9/2 and is out of custody. On Monday, I saw her sitting outside Courtroom 3. She looked at me a few times. Bollman has seen me in court covering her hearings. While she may get a bit animated in court trying to explain her side to her lawyer, it is mild compared to other defendants. Bollman usually answers questions in court coherently.

Bollman had a hearing in her three criminal cases on Monday and later today she has a hearing on the restraining order requested by the County. Bollman already has at three year restraining order granted that was requested by the City of Fortuna. She has obviously been in at the Courthouse since she posted bail, she hasn't been arrested in two weeks so what will be the Judge's ruling in the County case? Unless she can afford a private lawyer, she is on her own in court.

On Monday, the jury trial date for 9/18 was vacated. The 2022 case is trailing. Trial confirmation was continued at defense request and dates were reset. Once again, possible mental health diversion being filed by defense was mentioned. Trial confirmation is scheduled for 12/6 and jury trial for 12/18.

She has three criminal cases, one restraining order granted in the City of Fortuna lawsuit and the County employees and Supervisors are acting like they are still in imminent danger?

I get harassing emails and threats. Some from nutcases and others are deliberate and designed to intimidate me into silence. Anonymous, of course because these gutless cowards can't back their words or use their real name and do so to avoid consequences for their threats and intimidation. I document and inform the appropriate authorities. I know the legal system. I know that a piece of paper does not protect someone and there are several violation of protective orders.

Other people are threatened in Humboldt daily. All of us are more of a target and in danger than the City of Fortuna and County petitioners. We have less resources and are not elected officials or the Humboldt. Sheriff. Law enforcement is short staffed in Humboldt.

Yet, tons of resources at taxpayer expense are wasted because of who Bollman called and because she put some signs on her window. The City of Fortuna and the County do not pay for their lawyers. The taxpayers do.

The civil hearings could have been postponed and a protective order could have been requested in the criminal cases where Bollman has a Public Defender to represent her. This is "Humboldt Justice." If you are in power, if you run the system, you get better protection than the taxpayers footing your salaries.

A mental health diversion would conveniently prevent the public from knowing why Bollman made these threats against Supervisors and others. Sweep it under the rug, Humboldt style. The Public Defenders get paid by the County. Think they are going to piss off the Board of Supervisors? How will a mental health diversion protect the public or the people seeking these restraining orders? These days, mental health diversions are being granted in Humboldt Superior Court like candy to people like James Leach and Bao Her who were charged with violent crimes. Both were represented by Public Defenders.

Humboldt "locals" don't like criticism. They attack and destroy anyone speaking the truth. Mostly anonymously. It does not change the facts. Don't want to be called out, then change your attitude and the Humboldt way. Karma is you losing money; failing despite the amount of money you have; "success" and "wealth" which you made by screwing others not because you are some talented, brilliant visionary; your kids making the crime headlines and getting convicted; every decent industry taxed and destroyed by the same whiny people who are scared of one woman when they have resources, money, power, law enforcement at their beck and call and a comfortable roof over their heads. I am not excusing Bollman's behavior but Humboldt needs to look in the mirror.

Sub standard media, businesses run by homophobic and misogynist drunks, empty storefronts because people with no clue how to run a successful operation get funded because they are local or fake the Jesus grift, arrogant daddy and mommy kids with no talent propped by their enabling families and git er done fake religious and arrogant locals who make the the Pharisees look like angels. Humboldt has good people but they are lost in the sea of decades of incompetence and stagnation and haters. The good ole boys should take "credit" for the depressing, drug ridden, impoverished wasteland they have created by their attitude and good ole boys who have been in charge for generations.
