Yet another continuance by defense for the preliminary hearing scheduled on 9/20 for attempted murder suspect Miguel Moreno and Ruben Ramirez. It was rescheduled for 12/13 with a motion to amend the complaint for Moreno.
12/13: No courtroom available. Court continues motion to amend complaint and confirmation of preliminary hearing to 1/24/24; preliminary hearing to 1/25/24.
1/24/24: Moreno is now represented by Mr. Ken Bareilles. Deputy Public Defender David Celli appeared with Ramirez.1/25 date vacated. Motion to amend complaint and preliminary hearing continued due to courtroom unavailability. Pre trial scheduled for 2/28. Preliminary hearing and motion to amend complaint rescheduled to 2/29.
2/28: Preliminary hearing assigned to Retired Judge Chrristopher Wilson.
2/29: Motion to amend complaint granted. Preliminary started on 2/29 and concluded on 3/1. Defendant's held to answer. DA did not request holding for Moreno for the special allegation for Count 1.
Arraignment on information on 3/14.
