First District Supervisor Rex Bohn's challenger Gordon Clatworthy has been attending events, signing up people at his table to register to vote and has put in a recent PRA request about Bohn, checks and payments within the last 5 years.
Yesterday in a general conversation about a few things, Gordon mentioned that former Auditor Controller Karen Paz Dominguez was one of the people "to sign my signatures form to get me on the ballot."
I reached out to Karen. She met Gordon at the Festejando Nuestra Comunidad this past Saturday. "He was tabling and helping people register to vote." Karen did sign his nomination paper. "I live in the first district and am happy to hear we will have another option."
I think a lot of people feel the way Karen does. The First District needs another option. Humboldt County Board of Supervisor needs someone else than a multiple term Supervisor whose chokehold and monoply works for his family and his sycophants. It is not working for those who don't play the git er done game. I hope there is at least one other option in the First District. The more options; the better.
I am documenting Gordon's PRA request here because I want to see how the County will respond and how the other local media will cover this PRA request and how the other local media will cover the Karen Paz Dominguez news. She is one of many who signed Gordon's nomination form.
This 60 k a month is just one of the many posts I did last year on County and payments.
