In May, I did a post on the eminent domain case filed by the State of California regarding property owned by Target. The State is interested in constructing two or three bridges crossing the Eureka slough.
Civil cases drag on for months and years; most settle and are dismissed. Atleast Target and the State of California only wasted a few months compared to years like most Humboldt civil cases.
For the second time on August 4, attorneys for both parties did not show up for court. I was in no rush to do an updates because a stipulation had been reached and on 9/14, the case was dismissed.
