The District Attorney has charged Sebastion Hockett with sexual assault of a minor under 10 years old PC 288.7(b), sexual assault of an unconscious victim PC 289 (d)(1) and sexual exploitation of a child (PC 311.3(a). The complaint does not indicate gender of the child.
These are the same charges Hockett from the Ramey warrant and Hockett's arrest on March 30.
The Public Defender's office was appointed at arraignment today. Hockett was booked on a no bail status. Today, Judge Steven Steward set bail at $750,000. Time not waived. OR/bail hearing on April 5; preliminary hearing on April 13.
Hockett is still in quarantine but he can be transported to court according to jail staff.
Hockett has two traffic cases in the Humboldt Superior Court system. One from 2021 and one from 2020 and conviction in both cases.
