I did not cover convicted felon Jared Aubrey sentencing today because the plea deal was a stipulated term of 43 years to life. Other than victim impact statements and custody credits, there was no new information in court today.
Aubrey told Judge Kelly Neel he did not say the gun he used was his brother in law's weapon. He was sentenced to 43 years, 8 months to life. Aubrey has 279 custody credits.
Aubrey pleaded guilty today to two counts of attempted murder of a police officer and two counts of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle. Aubrey also admitted that he discharged a firearm related to the attempted murder charges.
