Larry Doss makes it official tomorrow outside the Courthouse

I was the first one to report that Larry Doss was running for 5th District Supervisor in September as well as several other posts since then.

Doss is formally kicking off his campaign tomorrow. He also has a fundraiser on February 15. Doss has had his website, Facebook page up for a while. Issues and endorsements are on the website. He has been reaching out to 5th District constituents.

Since former 5th District Supervisor Ryan Sunberg has endorsed him as well as current Fourth District Supervisor Virginia Bass, First District Supervisor Rex Bohn and Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell, I expect they will be there tomorrow alongwith several people from Ming Tree and others people should recognize if they actively follow local politics and business.

Larry Doss will announce his candidacy for Humboldt County District 5 Supervisor on Monday February 7th at 12:15 pm at the steps of the Humboldt County Courthouse.

Larry & his family have owned Ming Tree Realty for over 50 years helping the community secure their dreams of home or business ownership. He faithfully served Humboldt County on the Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District as Commissioner for the First District for 6 years. He has been an advocate for protecting our environment, developing a strong port and business community.

Larry is a father, rancher, realtor, and community leader who sees the need for leadership in county government. As a rancher in Orick and in the northernmost District of the county, he wants the Fifth District to have a strong voice in matters that are crucial to the rural way of life.
