Alleged molestor Miles Neiva was held to answer on all charges after his preliminary hearing on January 26. Arraignment on information is scheduled on February 9.
Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for this case. Mr. Zach Curtis is Neiva's attorney.
One alleged incident took place in Scotia in Jane Doe's mom's room and the other one in a garage in Fortuna.
Preliminary court minutes:
1/9/22: Defense requested arraignment on information be put over to 3/3. Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was present for the People. Mr. Zach Curtis represents Neiva.
3/3: Arraignment completed. Deputy District Attorney Shelly Small was present for the People. Trial confirmation is 8/22/22; jury trial is 9/6/22.
