Sex offender Ryan Taylor Landowski was arrested yesterday by State Parole for alleged parole violation. He was sentenced in 2019 to prison. I covered his 2019 case. Sexually violent predator Joshua Cooley's grandparents were in court for Landowski's case.
2/18: Landowski was arraigned on parole revocation. Public Defender's office was appointed. Referral to supervised release was made.
2/23: At the OR/bail hearing, Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian requested re-referral to supervised release for a full report. Landowski addressed Retired Judge John Feeney and he waived his hearing on the supervised release report. Mr. Orbelian withdrew his request. Landowski is still in custody. Deputy DA Roger Rees was present for the People. Parole probable cause hearing is scheduled for 2/28.
