Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward will officially kick off his campaign for Judge Christopher Wilson's seat this Wednesday. Mr. Steward also has a Facebook page.
Judge Wilson is retiring. The other candidate for that position is Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin.

I am pleased to announce that the Steward for Judge Campaign will have a campaign kick-off event on Wednesday, February 23rd at 12:30PM, on the steps of the Humboldt County Courthouse (825 5th Street, Eureka). He will speak about his many years of legal experience, working first as a defense attorney and now as a Deputy District Attorney, as well as the reasons he is the right person to be Humboldt's next Superior Court Judge.
"This campaign has gathered a diverse group of supporters from across the political spectrum and throughout Humboldt County. I continue to reach out to our community to listen to your concerns and to explain why I am the right choice for Humboldt Superior Court Judge. I hope this event will further our campaign message of fairness, compassion and accountability and get the word out that experience and impartiality matter."
