Plea offer of probation discussed in hit and run suspect Demmeri Carr's case

On February 22,  intervention was held in hit and run suspect Demmeri Carr's case. A plea offer was discussed.

The plea offer was conditioned on grant of probation unless the pre-sentence report contained information then that could change the Court's ruling on sentencing. If that happens, Carr would get her plea back. Preliminary hearing remains set for March 8.

Ms. Christina Allbright is Carr's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta is the prosecutor for the case.

3/8: Carr resolved her case. Sentencing is on April 21.
