"I have had six different attorneys!"

Former correctional deputy Cory Fisher is charged with alleged sexual abuse and inappropriate behavior involving six minor male victims.

His preliminary was scheduled for February 27. A motion for continuance is still calendared for March 27 but it is also scheduled this morning for the same reason.

Fisher's attorney filed a second amended continuance. People did object but finding good cause, Judge Christopher Wilson granted the continuance.

Preliminary is now scheduled for April 24. Intervention for April 19.

Mr. Joe Judge will be taking over Fisher's case. Fisher said, "I have had six different attorneys!"

Judge Wilson addressed Fisher's concern. "I understand your frustrations." Judge Wilson explained the recent changes Conflict Counsel  went through with the appointment of Judge Kaleb Cockrum and Mr. Marek Reavis as interim Public Defender. "Typically, I can count on them (the attorneys in that office) being consistent."

He told Fisher that he could schedule a Marsden motion, " but then it means you will get a new attorney."
