Trial confirmation was scheduled today for the jury trial set for Mario Nunez and Joe Olivio Jr., two suspects in the Jesus Garcia homicide.
Jury trial was set for February 13 but now rescheduled to March 5, however three other jury trials for murder are also set to start on that day.
Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal made an oral motion to continue since he is prosecutor in the Jon Goldberg jury trial scheduled to start today . No objection from defense. Mr. David Celli, Nunez's attorney specially appeared for Olivio Jr's attorney, Mr. Joe Judge. Trial estimate 8 weeks.
