On 2/24/18 at approximately 2:35 pm, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the report of a dead body on Centerville Beach.
Deputies arrived on scene and located a severely decomposed body approximately one quarter of a mile from the mouth of the Eel River.
The Coroner’s Office arrived on scene and the body was retrieved. This investigation is currently ongoing.
