Joe Olivio Jr loses another attorney; this time because the Public Defender's office hired Joe Judge

Joe Olivo, Jr. had all his cases on calendar today. He is one of two suspects awaiting jury trial for the Jesus Garcia homicide.

Deputy District Attorney Luke Bernthal is prosecuting the case. Mr. Joe Judge was representing Olivo, Jr.

A determination of conflict was filed on all cases because as of today, Mr. Judge is a Deputy Public Defender, as of today.

Joe Olivio has been through a few attorneys; most recently before Mr. Judge, it was Ms. Allbright.

Trial assignment and confirmation of counsel is scheduled for March 2. Jury trial for March 5. Judge Graham Cribbs is assigned to this trial.
