According to HCSO PIO Samantha Karges "We are not able to confirm the sex of the body until after the autopsy is performed."
On Feb. 21, 2018, at about 4:00 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a hiker who located the body in the Mattole Beach area.
The Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department and the Bureau of Land Management assisted in recovering the body.
The body is believed to have been deceased for some time and has not yet been identified.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, February 23.
Today's Saturday. Any autopsy results? Do we know if it's Hana?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
No information yet. The autopsy could have been conducted at any time on Friday. There has been no indication yet that this was due to foul play. I am going to wait for the press release.
