Major injury traffic collision on Sherwood Rood

On February 11, 2018, at approximately 1325 hours, a 2016 Dodge Ram, driven by Gary Wyatt of Willits, CA was traveling northbound on Sherwood Road, south of Birch Street.  At the same time, a 2013 Mini Cooper, driven by Cindy Gunter of Willits, CA was traveling southbound on Sherwood Road, south of Birch Street.



 For reasons still under investigation, the Dodge crossed over the double yellow centerline and into the southbound lane of Sherwood Road causing the Dodge Ram and Mini Cooper to collide head on

As a result of the collision, Mrs. Gunter sustained suspected serious injuries and she was transported to Howard Memorial Hospital.  

This collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
