Michelle Bushnell has a potential challenger

Brian D. Roberts has filed Form 501 and Form 470 and plans to run against Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell in the March 5, 2024 election.

I will be able to verify with elections if this is the Brian Roberts from Blocksburg associated with Homestead Collective Weed Company LLC after the December 8 deadline. 

When people's middle initials are left out in local County and Court public documents, it makes it more time consuming and difficult to verify. A google search for Brian Roberts in Humboldt only brings up the Brian Roberts of Homestead Collective Weed Company.

If it is the same Brian Roberts, then this is the second candidate this week who has filed to run against an incumbent supervisor who has an issue with the County and BOS.

Last year, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors unanimously denied the appeal of Brian Roberts who owner and registeted agent for Homestead Collective Weed Company in Blocksburg. That Brian Roberts was claiming the fees he was being charged by the Planning and Building Department was exorbitant.
