Convicted molestor sentenced to 4 years, has over a year in custody credits

 


After a mistrial the first time, two failed attempts to dismiss the retrial by defense, Matthew Dickerson  resolved his case. The convicted molestor was sentenced today to 4 years. He has 477 custody credits.

As agreed in the plea deal, Counts 1,2, 3, 7, 8, 9 were dismissed by the People. Dickerson has to register as sex offender for 10 years. 

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin is Dickerson's attorney.



11/9: Dickerson was served with a criminal protective order.
