Pigs must be flying because I agree with certain LOCO and Kym commenters Rex's only opponent

(WakaWaka I usually agree with)

(this is the only POM comment I agree with)

Yesterday Kym Kemp published a letter by Ellen Taylor of Petrolia. Yes, I had the same reaction to Ellen 🙄 but I do agree that someone else, in addition to Gordon Clatworthy, must run against Rex Bohn.

I am posting some of the comments on Ellen's letter. You can read a few others on Redheaded BlackBelt. Scott Nelson linked my posts on Gordon. Waka Waka and Scott Nelson are both decent and well informed. Voters in the First District need at least one more choice.

While I have continued to post on Gordon's election filings and will run any press release, I find myself agreeing with some LOCO commenters about and with RHBB POM on this one comment. Based on how I feel about LOCO and POM's other comments, pigs must be flying.

Scott, thanks for linking my posts. You are a decent guy. However, since these posts were written, I have had a conversation with Gordon both as someone reporting as well as my own personal observations and concerns.

I repeatedly told him to stop listening to nutcase Kent Sawatzky who achieves nothing but inserts himself in elections and County issues and harms valid information and transparency. Kent never has tips, his information is inaccurate or incomplete and all he does is waste time. If Kent is who Gordon chooses to continue to associate with, voters need to question him as a candidate, his judgement and he has no business being a County Supervisor.

Gordon needs to spend less time arguing on LOCO and Facebook and give more voters more reasons other than running on "I am not Rex" to be taken seriously. Gordon is too busy linking his own Facebook posts and self promoting himself on Humboldt Reddit.

Where are any endorsements? Where is a list of supporters? Updates on his website was supposed to be another follow through resulted in zilch. Gordon finally submitted signatures in lieu after I repeatedly asked him to do so because until the elections office verifies him, he remains an unqualified candidate.

According to elections, it looks like he has enough signatures to qualify. I dont get to vote in the First District but aside from the obvious Rex groupies commenting on Ellen's letter, I think there are some valid points made about both Gordon and Rex. I do hope at least one more candidate steps up. DHW, the entrenched younger generation are no different than their daddies and mommies. If anything they are arrogant and entitled and have been handed down land and businesses they run the good ole Humboldt way.

Rex being removed will loosen the chokehold his buddies and funders have on this County and he will not be able to protect and appoint his buddies in law enforcement and other County positions. Rex will never recuse himself, never admit conflict of interests and keep making it possible for the same vindictive, untalented, arrogant good ole boys to run this County into the ground. The more challengers he has, it lessens his chances to make it past the primary.

Unseating Rex from his Humboldt throne will not be easy. Gordon is not the candidate who can win against Rex.
