Gabrielle Long, owner of Taste of Bim, just celebrated 8 years of owning that business last weekend during Arts Alive. I was the first to report on her taking over The Grind located at 5th and that the Grind would be operating the Humboldt County Airport Cafe.
I reached out to her today about The Tasty Hub, a proposed project on 5th Street where the former Eureka Chalet used to be and S.I. P. Cafe was supposed to open. The project is on the agenda for the November 8 Eureka Planning Commission meeting.
This is Gabrielle's day off, she is out of town but she briefly responded to me and said she will be in touch soon.
11/9: City of Eureka Assistant Manager and Clerk Pam Powell and Development Services Director Cristin Kenyon said that the Tasty Hub item was approved by the Planning Commission.
