Ryan Gee was arrested by Humboldt State University Police yesterday for PC 626.10(a)(1) bringing a weapon on school grounds. Gee posted bond and hours later was arrested again by the HSU Police Department on additional charges.
I contacted HSU. Aileen.Yoo, director of news and information responded. "Hi John, we can confirm that Ryan Gee, 29, a student at Cal Poly Humboldt, was arrested at his residence near the Creekside Housing complex on Wednesday for possession of a sword. Possession of blades longer than 2.5 inches is prohibited by law on California State University system campuses. Gee was cooperative with the University Police and was booked without incident."
Gee was on the arrest log again for November 9. In addition to the PC 626.10 (a) (1) charge, two additional charges PC 22210 possession of batons or leaded canes and PC 12022.1 committing a felony while out on OR or bail.
Gee had an unlawful detainer case filed by Spinks Property Management. A default judgement was granted on 10/31/22 and a writ of possession filed 11/14/22.
11/15: Gee was on the must go list for 11/14/23. If he was not arraigned, he should have been released from custody. There is no case filed in e court. DA reviewed two of the charges and did not file; two other charges are pending review. Gee was released from custody.
