EPD Officer Matt White resigned

I was told Eureka Police Officer Matt White resigned as of February 25, 2022. 

I reached out to EPD Crime Analyst and PIO Brittany Powell.  "Hi John,Employee status related questions can be referred to our Human Resource Department. Thank you, Brittany"

I contacted City of Eureka HR and City administration.  Eureka Manager Miles Slattery confirmed, "Yes John, Officer White has resigned. We wish him the best on his future endeavors. Thank you,Miles"

If you have read my blog regularly and read my exclusive coverage and ongoing coverage on the Eureka Police Department "text investigation", I mentioned EPD Officer Matt White months ago.
