Trader Joe's recalls salad in California and four other states

 


Trader Joe's issued a health alert recalling a salad in five states, including California, because there may be hard plastic in the dressing. The other four states are Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.

"To Our Valued Customers:

We have been alerted by our supplier of Trader Joe’s Crunchy Slaw with Chicken, Crispy Noodles & Peanut Dressing (SKU# 94988, Use By Dates 03/09/22 through 03/12/22) — sold only in AZ, CA, NM, NV, and UT stores — that product with the aforementioned Use By Dates may contain hard plastic.

No injuries have been reported to date, and all potentially affected product has been removed from sale.

If you purchased any Crunchy Slaw with Chicken, Crispy Noodles & Peanut Dressing, please do not eat it. We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
