Will BOS remove Pete Oringer from Project Trellis Committee?

"The Chair of the Project Trellis Committee has reached out to the Clerk of the Board to ask for removal of At-Large alternate member Pete Oringer from the committee due to lack of attendance."

"The approved by-laws of the committee state that a member can be removed after not attending three meetings.  Mr. Oringer was appointed as the alternate in August 2021 and has not attended any meetings to date.    The committee has reached out to Mr. Oringer with no response.  Therefore, to avoid any quorum issues, the committee is requesting the removal of  Mr. Oringer and the reopening of the vacancy.  Filling this vacancy will be brought back to the Board on March 22, 2022, as a separate agenda item."

If you don't know who Oringer is, google him. East West railroad and treasurer of the Humboldt County Visitors Bureau come up.

And, what would a Humboldt BOS meeting be without litigation being discussed in closed session. The Blair Angus and Natalie Duke state bar case as well as potential litigation regarding the Auditor Controller and Board of Supervisors.
