On March 24 Richard Haberman resolved his recent case with a lenient plea deal. Haberman entered a guity plea to Count 1 as a misdemeanor and the rest of the counts were dismissed. Haberman was sentenced to one year of probation and 8 days of jail time but given 8 days of custody credit.
Haberman was arrested in connection with the same investigation that led to the arrest of local attorney, Michael Acosta.
The preliminary hearing for 5/5 was vacated. His preliminary hearing was continued many times.
