Yesterday, I posted the final list for Humboldt County candidates. Mychal Evenson is still on the ballot. I checked with the Elections Office.
"As it stands right now, Mychal Evenson will be on the June 7th ballot," said Juan Cervantes, Elections Specialist for the Humboldt Elections Office.
Mychal responded to me, "There is a line in election code that prevents people from withdrawing from primary elections. I am no longer campaigning and I am directing people to vote for Cheryl."
