Where is the zeal from LOCO, NCJ and others asking BOS about the cannabis funds being recorded in a lump sum ?

I hear crickets from Lost Coast Outpost, North Coast Journal and other media who the cannabis industry supported for years. I hear silence from everyone in this town who made money off growers when marijuana was illegal and still trying to to the same  now that it is legal. Now that the cannabis industry is struggling, all of you just move on to the next golden goose your greed and ineptitude will bankrupt.

All the people going on and on about the BOS talking points every day for weeks and attacking the Auditor Controller want to ignore what Karen Paz Dominguez said about cannabis money being recorded in a lump sum. For years, the BOS has been quiet about cannabis revenue despite media inquiries. 

Instead of regurgitating the BOS spin every day via emails about the Auditor Controller endless times, try being actual journalists. That means going and investigating, researching, putting in time and questioning the BOS about cannabis revenue, why the Board of Supervisors gave themselves a raise this year, if HCSO employees are still getting gift cards and cash advances, why there are so many retired employees double dipping as extra help or temporary help, why it took calling them out in public several times to have Thomas Edrington's PRA  published, why they keep asking for more taxes and how much has been spent on litigation since 2010? 2016? 2018? 2021?

Those who keep pressing the Auditor Controller who is trying to do her job under constant attack and pressure are the same people not holding the Supervisors and County department heads accountable. Your action or lack of action show your bias, your agenda and your motives for smearing anyone trying to hold the local fat cats responsible.
