After my last post, local attorney Michael Acosta brought in the required number of valid signatures. He came in right before 5 p.m. and completed all the paperwork. The elections office confirmed he qualified to run for DA.
Mr. Acosta told me, "I am running to secure the blessings of our liberty to ourselves and our posterity."
I was the only one to report about a third candidate for DA on February 7 and the first one to say it would be Mr. Acosta.
If there are any changes to the final list for DA, Judge, 4th or 5th District candidates not mentioned in my post earlier today, I will add that information to this post.
