This is why I still do this blog despite many challenges. The ruling on the 995 defense motion and District Attorney's motion will have consequences for more people and their safety.

I responded to her and told her that the Judge is expected to issue his ruling on the defense's 995 motion and DA's motion to continue trial in the homicide case or advance the preliminary hearing in the assault case on March 15. The Court continued the 2/28 hearing.
She responded back to me. Her kind words given that I am covering Tanner's case is appreciated.This is how civil and decent people who understand what news is and respect media act.
There have been so many continuances lately that I either add updates to a previous post and in this case, there was no ruling so I was going to do an update on March 15.
The trial confirmation date of 3/7 was vacated. Jury trial is currently scheduled for 3/21.
